We track game prices the boring, rigorous way.

SnagKey is a price-and-discount tracker for PC games. We pull sale prices from public store data across every major retailer, confirm each one against the live listing, and require a second independent source to agree before anything is published. The result is a tool, not a wall of text: the number you see is a number we have actually verified.

Why we exist

Most "best deals" pages are generated in bulk and quietly go stale — the price on the page no longer matches the price at checkout. That's the problem we set out to fix. Instead of writing about deals, we built a verification pipeline that checks them. Every figure on this site is traceable to a live source and has survived an independent cross-check.

Our rule is simple: if a price can't be traced to a real source and confirmed by something other than the system that produced it, it never goes live.

What makes our data different

• Re-checked sources. We re-fetch the original listing and confirm the exact quoted price still appears there.
• Two-source agreement. A price confirmed by only one source is flagged, not published.
• Independent judging. A separate reviewing system — running on a different model family than the one that read the page — rules on every figure before it advances.
• A human approves every batch. Nothing publishes on autopilot. A person reviews the daily queue and signs off.
• A full audit trail. For every published price we can show which source it came from, the exact quote, and when it was confirmed.

How we make money

Some links to stores are affiliate links: if you buy after clicking, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes which deals we show or how we rank them — ranking is driven by discount and verification status only. We may also show display advertising. Our editorial policy explains the firewall between revenue and rankings.
